~Thich Nhat Hanh
Unfortunately, people get used to having their problems, even though they are uncomfortable and cause suffering. They may KNOW how to be depressed, or poor, or sick. Contemplating anything else is a bit scary. Contemplating and taking action to do or be something else is even scarier still.
There are plenty of techniques to help you let go of suffering, but the key is that you first must WANT to let it go.
This week: Think about how your life would be different if you could get rid of the suffering you do. Would you have more time? More energy? More money? Better health? If your suffering were gone, would you lose your excuses? Your drama?
Just consider whether it might be nice to be able to have the life you've dreamed of, instead of the life you think you are stuck with.Dr. Linda Pucci is a psychologist, life coach and trainer with change techniques that can help you let go of your suffering--when you are ready to let it go.
