Start Thinking About What You Really Want

"I found that when you start thinking and saying what you really want, then your mind automatically shifts and pulls you in that direction. And sometimes it can be that simple, just a little twist in vocabulary that illustrates your attitude and philosophy."

~ Jim Rohn

Too often, we tend to limit ourselves.  We think that something is impossible or that we don't deserve to have what we want.  We tell ourselves we can't.  When you allow yourself to really start thinking and saying what you WANT, you help create the circumstances to make it happen.  You change from a negative mind set to a mind set of possibility.  And just that little shift in your thinking or in how you talk about something helps set into motion creative ways to make it happen.

This week:   Challenge yourself to admit what you REALLY WANT.  Say it out loud.  Notice how it feels in your body.  When you do this, you are being congruent.  Your inside dreams and your outside actions and intentions match.  When that happens, we are more able to create solutions.  We are more likely to notice things that will move us in that direction.  Your brain is a wonderful resource for you.  When you are honest about what you want, it senses that congruence and helps create it for you.

i WANT my book, The Artist Within, to be a best seller! It IS amazing how hard it can be to say what we really want. There is so much fear there. Or, "I don't deserve that" or "Who am I to think that I could...". Thank you for making me put it out there right away this week, Linda!

Thank you for encouraging us - giving us permission - to "admit what we REALLY WANT." I love the use of 'admit' ... it tells me that it has always been there and that my lack of admission is the only block. How freeing this is!

What I REALLY WANT is to reach more people for confidence in authenticity through speaking on Wading the Stream of Awareness.

Love this "what you REALLY want" post. I REALLY want self-employed folks to feel the power they have to change their own life and the lives of those they serve. :-)

"What I really want" is to share the understanding, passion and love God has given me for social media marketing to help other christian women entrepreneurs use this media to build successful businesses online.

Ooh, thanks Linda for making it say it out loud!! :)

I WANT to help nonprofit leaders bloom and learn how to raise all the money their organization needs to fulfill their mission.

That feels very congruent! Thanks Linda!

This week I did just that - went after what I wanted. Every now and then the words "are you kidding yourself" came in but I thought, "why can't I have it." The next step hinged on a phone call and it went better than I ever could have wished for.

Thanks Linda for your encouragement.

I love that all of the comments are folks saying out loud what they want! It makes me want all of that for all of you. I want to contribute to the global cultivation of peace by exploring, practicing and teaching the yoga of relationship!
